Kyle Sandilands is set to feature in season two of Paramount+ series Last King of the Cross.

The radio star's long-time friend John Ibrahim, 54, was by his side when the Kings Cross identity's brother Fadi was brutally gunned down in 2009.

Fadi, who is the second-youngest of four Ibrahim brothers, was shot five times by an unknown assailant while sitting in a Lamborghini with his girlfriend Shayda Bastani, who was also shot once in the thigh.

Last King of the Cross follows John's rise to power in the Kings Cross nightclub scene during the 90s and early 2000s, and season two will feature a scene depicting the shooting.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail Australia, Kyle said John, who is also the show's executive producer, recently asked whether he was happy to be featured as a character.
