The family watches TV when Reuben comes and wants to show them a tv commercial for a chicken fast food company called Uncle Erwin’s Country Chicken. The advert is really awful, and the kids and Shirley say no to the proposition to make a commercial for the company.

But Reuben urges the family to meet the owner, Uncle Erwin. They agree.

During the meeting at his office, Uncle Erwin tells them that he wants to make a new advert, simple, tasteful, and appealing with a family enjoying a day out and eating Uncle’s Erwin’s chicken. He says that The Partridge Family is his only choice.
